KUU & GREEN CITY FARM

Restaurant Kuu is now working together with Green City Farm. Green City Farm is an educational field and a sustainable garden that is located near Perho’s campus area in Malmi. Green City Farm’s field cultivates and sells sustainably and locally produced vegetables and herbs for restaurants in the capital area that are focused on sustainability. The crops are taken to the restaurants mainly during harvest season from August till November.

There are over 50 different plant species being cultivated in the field, including kale, beetroot, corn and different types of herbs. We in restaurant Kuu use produce that comes from our own plot.  This is how we bring sustainable gardening as a part of our restaurant and support sustainable practices in Finnish restaurant culture.
